Delete your account
What gets deleted
- Your name, phone number, email address, state, city and profile photo
- Your notes, voice notes, doubts and comments
- Your live-class chat messages
- Your practice progress, attempts and leaderboard entries
- Your push notification token
What we have to keep
Deleting your account does not erase everything, and it would be dishonest to imply otherwise:
- Order and payment records — Required by tax and accounting law. They are kept only for as long as that law requires, then removed.
- Anonymised usage statistics — These carry no information that identifies you
How long it takes
Your account stops working immediately. The complete removal of your data from our systems and backups finishes within 30 days of a verified request.
What you lose
Courses you have paid for stop working. Deletion ends access to every live class, recording and download you have bought, and it is not a refund — no money is returned because you deleted the account. If you want a refund, read the refund policy and ask for one before deleting.
You cannot reuse the same phone number to recover this account afterwards. Signing up again with it creates a new, empty account.
Files already on your phone
Videos and PDFs you downloaded live in the app’s private storage on that device. Deleting your account does not reach onto a phone that still has the app — uninstalling com.selectionskills.android removes them.
Other ways to do this
- In the app. Open Profile and choose Delete account.
- By email. Write to dev@opsolve.in from the address on your account, or from any address quoting your registered mobile number. We verify by SMS before acting.
